Pre-enrolment is now open for the 3rd edition of the Specialisation Diploma in Data Protection, Digital Society and Artificial Intelligence at the Autonomous University of Madrid, for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The Diploma is co-directed by Blanca Rodríguez-Chaves Mimbrero, Associate Professor of Administrative Law at the UAM, and Pablo García Mexía, Director of the Digital Law Area at Herbert Smith Freehills and Counsel to the Spanish Parliament.
The programme offers specialised training in some of the main legal and regulatory challenges of the digital society, including data protection, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, technology governance and the legal framework applicable to other disruptive digital technologies.
Teaching will be delivered in person from 18 September 2026 to 25 June 2027. The programme comprises 30 ECTS credits, structured around five compulsory subjects and a Final Diploma Project. Classes will take place on Fridays from 15:30 to 20:15, plus 10 Thursdays during the academic year.
The Diploma offers 25 places.
