On 19 November 2026, Pablo García Mexía will participate, at the invitation of the Institute for Industrial Development and Digital Transformation (INADI) in Mexico, in the international seminar and book presentation Artificial Intelligence: Towards a new era of human civilization, taking place from 3 to 24 November.
His contribution will form part of the fifth session, entitled “The Difficult Path Towards a Digital Republic: The Challenges of Freedom”, which will address the challenges posed by digital transformation to the protection of individual freedoms and the future of democratic societies.
The discussion will provide an opportunity to reflect on how technological progress can be reconciled with the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms, as well as the essential role of law and democratic institutions in shaping our digital future.
