Enrolment is now open for the 3rd edition of the Diploma of Specialisation in Data Protection, Digital Society and Artificial Intelligence at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, corresponding to the 2026/2027 academic year.
The programme will be delivered in person from 18 September 2026 to 25 June 2027, with sessions on Fridays from 15:30 to 20:15, as well as 10 additional Thursday sessions throughout the course.
The Diploma comprises 30 ECTS credits and is aimed at those wishing to deepen their understanding of the main legal, technological and social challenges of digital transformation. Its contents cover areas such as digital society, artificial intelligence, data protection, cybersecurity, information governance and other disruptive digital technologies.
The 3rd edition offers 25 places and will be co-directed by Blanca Rodríguez-Chaves Mimbreiro, Associate Professor of Administrative Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and Pablo García Mexía, Director of the Digital Area at Herbert Smith Freehills and Parliamentary Counsel.
The programme provides specialised and up-to-date training to understand, interpret and apply the legal framework of digital society and artificial intelligence, in a context marked by the growing importance of privacy, technology regulation and responsible innovation.
